It turns out on the spot that construction and repair work is underway in Hanwell Mental Institute – the old institute is preparing to accept patients again. Our hero has only one night at the disposal to find out what happened to him here. One night in a crazy house!

Naturally, we will not be alone here. A fun company of nightmares, internal fears and “surrounding shadows” (these are the words of Cordes itself) obviously will not let us get bored. In addition, several characters are promised with whom we can somehow interact: for example, a pretty girl Julia, an employee of the hospital, who, according to Cordeus, will become our best friend, “the only ray of hope among the surrounding chaos”. We will also meet several patients of the hospital, including a friendly psycho named Lenny, who once help the hero.

The searches will be difficult. Step by step, we will have to explore the three floors of the Khanvell Institute: the main character will have to look into every secluded corner, and, of course, in addition to all kinds of chambers, laboratories, offices and technical zones, very dark and very secret premises are waiting for you, where the chance of becoming Zaika is especially great.

Naturally, all this has been done, let’s say, not without the active participation of Cordes and the company. In addition, Augustine specially posted his psychiatric institute in the town of Hanwell to provoke associations with Hanwell Asylum, which really existed by the hospital, built at the beginning of the nineteenth century. It was once the largest crazy house in the world, and his glory went far beyond the borders of the gloomy walls: he was mentioned in the story of Lovecraft “Rat in the Wall”, in the play of Bernard show “Pygmalion”, in Chesterton's poems and even appeared in several artistic artistic artistic arts films!
